For this Winnetka renovation, O’Brien Harris collaborated with Melissa Lewis Interiors to transform the kitchen, primary bath, and two children’s bathrooms for a young family. The kitchen’s defining feature is a rounded-corner island, a technically complex detail that became the room’s signature. Antique reeded mirrored glass accents soften the cabinetry, while integrated appliances and smart storage solutions create a space that is both functional and sophisticated.

Upstairs, the primary bath features bamboo-inspired cabinetry with furniture-like legs and hidden outlets to keep the space clutter-free. Each child’s bath was designed with personality: the boy’s vanity includes a pull-out step stool for independence, while the girl’s bath embraces bold style with glossy green finishes and arched cabinet details that nod to the kitchen.

This renovation highlights the balance of playful functionality and refined craftsmanship, blending Melissa Lewis’s design vision with O’Brien Harris’s hallmark attention to detail.
